چکیده

The dynamics of a heteropolymer chain in solution is studied in the limit of long chain length. Using functional integral representation we derive an effective equation of motion, in which the heterogeneity of the chain manifests itself as a time-dependent excluded volume effect. At the mean field level, the heteropolymer chain is therefore dynamically equivalent to a ho-mopolymer chain with both time-independent and time-dependent excluded volume effects. The perturbed relaxation spectrum is also calculated. We find that heterogeneity also renormalizes the relaxation spectrum. However, we find, to the lowest order in heterogeneity, that the relaxation spectrum does not exhibit any dynamic freezing, at the point when static (equilibrium) " freezing " transition occurs in heteropolymer. Namely, the breaking of fluctuation-dissipation theorem (FDT) proposed for spin glass dynamics does not have dynamic effect in heteropolymer, as far as relaxation spectrum is concerned. The implication of this result is discussed.

The Effects of Different SDE Calculus on Dynamics of Nano-Aerosols Motion in Two Phase Flow Systems

Langevin equation for a nano-particle suspended in a laminar fluid flow was analytically studied. The Brownian motion generated from molecular bombardment was taken as a Wiener stochastic process and approximated by a Gaussian white noise. Euler-Maruyama method was used to solve the Langevin equation numerically. The accuracy of Brownian simulation was checked by performing a series of simulati...

Anomalous diffusion and dielectric relaxation in an N-fold cosine potential.

The fractional Klein-Kramers (Fokker-Planck) equation describing the fractal time dynamics of an assembly of fixed axis dipoles rotating in an N-fold cosine potential representing the internal field due to neighboring molecules is solved using matrix continued fractions. The result can be considered as a generalization of the solution for the normal Brownian motion in a cosine periodic potentia...

Relaxation dynamics of a quantum Brownian particle in an ideal gas

We show how the quantum analog of the Fokker-Planck equation for describing Brownian motion can be obtained as the diffusive limit of the quantum linear Boltzmann equation. The latter describes the quantum dynamics of a tracer particle in a dilute, ideal gas by means of a translation-covariant master equation. We discuss the type of approximations required to obtain the generalized form of the ...

Dynamics of proton transfer and vibrational relaxation in dilute hydrofluoric acid.

The molecular mechanisms in both vibrational relaxation and proton transfer (PT) associated with infrared (IR)-induced PT in a dilute hydrofluoric acid solution at ambient temperature are studied by molecular dynamics (MD) simulations with the multistate empirical valence bond model. To investigate the solvation dynamics, a collective solvent coordinate and its perpendicular bath modes are defi...

Comparison between linear and nonlinear models for surge motion of TLP

Tension-Leg Platform (TLP) is a vertically moored floating structure. The platform is permanently mooredby tendons. Surge equation of motion of TLP is highly nonlinear because of large displacement and it should be solved with perturbation parameter in time domain. This paper compare the dynamic motion responses of a TLP in regular sea waves obtained by applying three method in time domain usin...
